Advent-ure Calendar

So far this festive session I have had one saying-bad-words-while-trying-to-buy-presents experience. This is not in line with the true spirit of Christmas.

To get in line with the true spirit of Christmas i.e. celebrating Christ, I concocted an advent calendar.  A total of  $3 was spent on it. Can you tell? You can probably tell…

Each postcard contains a different way to focus on enjoying Christmas.
So far we have:

Made gingerbread

Read some festive Calvin and Hobbes

Reflected on Philippians 2:5-11

Written Christmas cards to our grandparents

Read “Staffan, an old Christmas folk song”

Thought about the star heralding the birth of Christ, while taking a walk at night.

How do you enjoy the lead up to Christmas day?

About freedom finder

I like books, plants and second-hand goodness. I like things that are free. I really like it when those two likes combine. I'm a Christian and want to take Jesus up on his offer of abundant life. I want to spend more time without money and spend more thoughts on freedom.
